Public Safety requires that a Command Post (CP) be set up in the field to pass information, formulate plans, provide direction and assist First Responders (FR) at emergency scenes.
In the past the CP has had to rely almost solely on audio from their individual field officers in order to assess a situation. However, with the MV 8003 the CP will not only have audio, but real time, wireless, color video* transmitted to them from up to four (4) field officers. This will allow the CP to better coordinate the action of their officers and to warn them of impending danger.

Central Control Monitoring
The MicroVi-3 System will allow the Command Post to instantly see the situation around every FR at the scene.
This system includes:
- Computer
- 4 cameras with wireless video access via 4 channels allowing monitoring of 4 FRs at once, on a single monitor screen. The Command Post screen will show real time video with automatic video recording.
- A vehicle mounted directional antenna
- The wireless distance from a Camera to the Command Post is up 1,500 Meters in open areas.
